College Internships
We offer a hands-on internship program for advanced high school students and college undergraduates who are passionate about media, storytelling, and social change. This program is a key part of our College and Career Readiness mission, providing students with meaningful professional experiences in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. Our internships bridge the gap between education and employment, giving students:

High School Programming
We support high school students from underserved Chicago communities through creative, real-world programming that builds storytelling, technical, and social-emotional skills. Our mentorship model centers student voice and connects directly to classroom learning through media production, civic engagement, and collaborative projects. Our goal is to develop students’ ability to express themselves through digital storytelling, while building life and career skills that align with academic standards and prepare them for postsecondary success.
Skills developed: Creative writing, narrative structure, digital literacy, visual storytelling, software proficiency project timelines, collaboration, empathy, communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, research, critical thinking, media literacy, advocacy. Here's an inside look on our impact:

Industry Access
As of 2022, we have impacted 150+ youth in Chicago. Our students have gone on to produce several social impact documentary films that have premiered at several film festivals around the country. Most recently, one of their films was picked up by the Roku Channel. Check out the films below!
